Achilles Tendinopathy

Mid-portion or insertional Achilles pain under load. A measured heel raise shortens the tendon's working length on every step while the rearfoot is kept quiet beneath it.

Style
¾-length or full-length
Density map
Cushioned heel (≈35A); standard elsewhere

The lift is modeled into the heel seat above the flat printed base, so its height is exact, per-side, and can't pack down over time the way foam lifts do.

What you'll see

  • Load-related posterior heel or mid-tendon pain
  • Morning stiffness in the tendon
  • Tenderness or fusiform thickening on palpation
  • Limited ankle dorsiflexion and a tight calf complex
  • A recent training-load spike in runners

The modifier package

Heel LiftA 6–10 mm bilateral raise, the core of the template
Heel Cup DepthKeeps the raised heel seated and centered
Rearfoot PostQuiets the frontal-plane motion that wrings the tendon

Worth considering

Medial ArchSupport when a collapsing arch adds a whip to the tendon

Clinical note

The lift manages symptoms; a progressive loading program does the healing. Plan to wean the lift as the tendon recovers.
