Rx template

Morton's Neuroma

A compressed interdigital nerve, classically in the third interspace: burning, tingling, and the feeling of a sock bunched under the toes. The template opens the interspace and softens the load path.

Met-dome position is millimeter-critical for a neuroma. Because the dome is placed against the scan and printed into the flat-based shell, it sits exactly proximal to the affected interspace on day one and on day three hundred.

What you'll see

  • Burning or electric pain radiating into the 3rd–4th toes
  • A positive squeeze test or Mulder's click
  • Relief the moment the shoe comes off
  • Aggravation in narrow or heeled footwear
  • Frequently no callus; the pain is neural, not pressure

The modifier package

Metatarsal PadPlaced just proximal to the affected interspace to spread the mets
MTP Reliefs 1-5Drops direct plantar pressure at the involved joints
Tapered FrontPreserves toe-box room in the shoe

Worth considering

Metatarsal BarFor multi-interspace or bilateral presentations

Clinical note

Pair the device with wide-toe-box footwear advice. The pad's spreading effect is amplified once the shoe stops doing the squeezing.

Every template is a starting prescription, not a constraint. Each parameter stays fully editable in Rx Studio before you send the order.
